In 1967 the Summer of Love resounded all around the world, emanating from
Golden Gate Park and the Haight Ashbury it's message of PEACE & LOVE... Make Love Not War! ...
I was in the military in Italy and all I could think of was how I wanted to be there in San Francisco.
Ten years after the original Summer of Love, I finally reached the Haight in 1977.
I went searching for the spirit and ideal that had made this neighborhood world famous, and found it,
making many new friends in the process, at the Shady Grove, the Grand Piano, the Pall Mall and All You Knead.

In 1987, the
20th Anniversary of the
Summer of Love
came around, and an event was planned to
take place at the Polo Fields in Golden Gate Park.

An Official poster was designed by Victor Moscoso.

I created this t-shirt design
that I sold at the event.

Later I scanned the t-shirt design and
created a poster commemorating the event.

I am offering it for purchase as a
Limited Edition high quality print on
Archival Matte paper, 13" x 19"

1992 poster design for the 25th Anniversary that wasn't.

For the 30th Anniversary in 1997, I altered a design I had
originally done in 1992 for a 25th Anniversary (which wasn't
celebrated), and created this poster for the event that took
place at the Beach Chalet Meadows in Golden Gate Park.

Mine was one of four official posters.

Available for purchase as a
Limited Edition high quality print on
Archival Matte paper, 13" x 19"

I also created the above Ad design to promote the event,
several button designs and put together
an insert that ran in the S.F. Bay Guardian.
